This policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, shared and protected when you use our websites, applications, browser extensions, streaming services and related products.
Our services provide Afghan music streaming, live radio, music discovery, personalized playlists, entertainment content and related features. Where applicable law requires consent, we request it separately. Using our services does not replace any consent that law requires.
2. Services and Platforms Covered
This policy applies to Radio Srood-operated websites and supported applications and experiences, where offered, including:

3. Information We May Collect
3.1 Information you provide
Support and feedback requests may include your name, email, optional phone number, message, issue details, and relevant music or track information you choose to provide. Please do not submit passwords, payment-card numbers or unnecessary sensitive information.
3.2 Music and listening information
Depending on features used, Radio Srood may process recent tracks, likes, favorite artists, playlists, playback history, searches, selected radio stations, listening preferences, Srood Pulse and Smart Mix selections, and queue settings. Some of this information may remain only on your device; other information may be processed by Radio Srood services or synchronized where enabled.
3.3 Technical and device information
Our systems or service providers may process device model, operating system and app version, language, network information, IP address, identifiers, diagnostics, crash reports, general performance data and approximate region. Some technical data qualifies as personal information and should not automatically be considered anonymous.
3.4 Downloads and offline listening
Eligible Srood Plus users may store downloaded music, metadata, file references, verification results and download progress in application-controlled storage. These records help manage offline playback, resume interrupted downloads and verify files. Removing the app or clearing its storage may remove local downloads.
3.5 Subscription and purchase information
Apple, Google Play or another relevant marketplace may process subscriptions and payments. Radio Srood may receive product IDs, entitlement status, renewal or expiration status, revocation status and transaction-verification information. Marketplace payment processors generally handle full payment-card details.
4. How We Use Information
We use information as needed to deliver music and live radio; operate search, playlists and personalized discovery; manage downloads; validate premium access; deliver eligible advertisements; support app reliability and security; detect abuse; respond to support inquiries; send permitted service communications; and comply with legal obligations. Processing depends on the feature, legal basis where required, and relevant permissions.
5. Advertising and Sponsored Content
The free service may include banners, interstitials, app-opening ads, audio ads, sponsored promotions or other platform-supported formats. Third-party advertising providers, including Google advertising services where enabled, may process advertising identifiers, IP addresses, device information and interaction data subject to applicable permissions, consent and their policies.
Where required, we request consent or permission for relevant tracking and personalized advertising. Users can manage available controls in device settings or an in-app consent interface where provided. Eligible Srood Plus subscriptions remove supported in-app ads according to product terms.

7. Analytics, Diagnostics and Performance
Depending on the app or website configuration, we may use diagnostic information about crashes, playback failures, navigation, app versions, performance and errors to improve service reliability. Third-party analytics providers, where actually enabled, may process information under their privacy notices. Collection differs among mobile, TV, web and extension products.
8. Browser Extensions
Our Chrome, Edge or other browser extensions may request permissions necessary for supported functions such as playback controls, accessing Radio Srood services, managing extension settings and opening related pages. The exact permissions and data accessed must match each extension’s published manifest and functionality.
Access to browsing history, active tabs, website content or other sensitive browser data must be expressly disclosed where used and limited to the extension’s necessary, permitted purpose. Browser-extension data obtained through privileged permissions must not be repurposed or shared for personalized advertising where marketplace policies prohibit that use. Users can inspect, restrict or remove extension permissions through their browser.
10. Notifications and Communications
Radio Srood may offer notifications about music releases, artists, updates, announcements and service information. Device notification permissions apply where required. Notifications can generally be adjusted through device settings.
11. Location Information
General location information may be inferred from IP addresses, regional settings or other permitted technical signals for licensing, delivery, localization or advertising. If an app feature requires precise device location, the relevant device permission and disclosures apply. Not every Radio Srood product collects precise location.
12. Information Stored on Your Device
Radio Srood may store playback preferences, recently played music, playlists, downloads, cached artwork and metadata, offline records and temporary operational files locally. Removing an app may delete this local information, but it does not automatically erase data already sent to Radio Srood or third-party processors.
13. Data Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose and applicable legal requirements. Retention can depend on the information category, active services, support needs, technical and security needs and legal obligations. Service providers may have separate schedules. Where no longer needed, information is deleted, anonymized or otherwise handled under applicable requirements. Specific retention periods should be documented based on the systems actually used.
14. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of personal information; withdraw consent where relevant; object to certain processing; or submit a privacy complaint. You can also manage device permissions, notifications and supported app preferences. We may reasonably verify identity before fulfilling eligible requests. Contact us using the details below.
15. Account and Data Deletion
Where a Radio Srood product provides user accounts, account and data deletion requests are handled according to applicable laws and marketplace rules, including in-app deletion where required. Users without an account can request deletion of eligible information held by Radio Srood. Removing local data may erase downloads and preferences. Uninstalling an app does not cancel an Apple, Google Play or other marketplace subscription; manage subscriptions through the marketplace.
16. Data Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and services involved, potentially including encrypted transport, access restrictions, secure subscription handling, software updates, and incident investigation. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.
17. International Data Transfers
Streaming, infrastructure, advertising and support providers may process information outside your country, including countries with different privacy protections. Where required, we use appropriate legal safeguards for international transfers. Applicable Canadian and other local privacy requirements continue to apply.
18. Children's Privacy
Radio Srood offers general music and entertainment services. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information unlawfully. Where consent from a parent or guardian is required, such consent must be obtained. Parents or guardians may contact us about an appropriate review or deletion request.
19. Third-Party Links and Content
Our services may link to third-party websites, music services, app stores or advertisers. These parties may have separate privacy policies and practices that we do not control. Please review their policies before sharing information.
20. App Stores and Device Platforms
Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Microsoft, Huawei, Samsung, Xiaomi, ONE Store and other distributors may separately process store-account information, purchases, device compatibility, install activity, crash reports and reviews under their own policies. Each Radio Srood store listing should reflect the actual data practices and SDKs in the build distributed there.
21. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when services, providers, legal requirements or technologies change. The current version will be available at our official website with a revised update date. Material changes will be notified or separately consented to where required by law.
